California Society of Printmakers (CSP) and Studio Art Quilt Associates (SAQA) California/Nevada Regions are proud to present Printed & Stitched, a collaborative exhibition that explores the convergence of printed imagery and sewn fibers. This unique exhibition showcases the work of artists who incorporate elements of both printmaking and stitching in their creations, resulting in pieces that are both visually stunning and conceptually rich. The show brings together many talented artists who are pushing the boundaries of traditional techniques to create captivating pieces that blur the line between two seemingly distinct art forms. The show includes over fifty artists from both SAQA and CSP.
One of the highlights is esteemed juror, Christine Aaron, a professional multi-disciplinary artist who bridges the techniques of print and fiber in her own work. Aaron’s keen eye and discerning taste have resulted in a thought-provoking selection of pieces that challenge the traditional notions of both media.
