2022 CSP Annual Meeting
California Society of Printmakers Annual Membership Meeting
May 14, 9am–4pm
Tannery Art Center in Santa Cruz, California
After two years of stay-at-home orders and virtual programming, the California Society of Printmakers (CSP) Board of Directors are excited to host our 2022 Annual Membership Meeting, in-person! We hope you all will be able to join us in vibrant Santa Cruz, California. The day’s events will take place in several venues and studios across the Tannery Art Center campus.
In addition to enjoying the fellowship of our members, there is a full agenda planned for the day, and beyond! With great pleasure, we will award three Honorary Memberships—Jean LaMarr, Leslie Jones and The San Francisco Poster Syndicate. Hear a recap of projects from this past year and a projection of what is on the horizon. Watch a mokuhanga demonstration. View several exhibitions, including the juried exhibition New Work at the Radius Gallery Annex; and participate in the members’ print exchange and the election of next term’s Board of Directors.
We are excited to announce that several of our new Honorary Members, including Leslie Jones, Curator of Prints and Drawings at the Los Angeles County Museum of Art (LACMA), and the San Francisco Poster Syndicate will be joining us and presenting about their work.
In conjunction with the annual meeting, esteemed printmaker, April Vollmer will offer a two day mokuhanga workshop to interested CSP members the Sunday + Monday following our Annual Meeting.
This event promises to be a wonderful, print-filled return to in-person programming!
Morning refreshments and lunch will be catered.
If you plan to attend, please RSVP by May 4 to assist with food and beverage preparation.
