| About the Artist: |
Ellen Heck graduated in 2006 with a B.A. in philosophy from Brown University. She went on to complete a B.F.A. from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago in 2008 in printmaking and painting. She currently lives in California's Bay Area, working as a fine art printmaker and artist-in-residence at Kala Art Institute in Berkeley.
Her work is highly figurative, portraying subjects who are often occupied by psychologically-revealing tasks. |
