Artist Statement
“My artwork combines dissimilar elements that are found in nature and may exist in a more conceptual way in our minds. This amalgamation of unlikely entities often creates a balanced and harmonious work of art”.
John McCaskill pushes the boundaries of printmaking by using non-traditional methods to achieve his unique style. The artwork seen here was created using discarded wood substrate, bristle and wire brushes and linoleum.
