| About the Artist: |
My subject matter and interest is the human form. Boldly simplified and exaggerated, my figures are ambiguous and whimsical. Images of my work often deal with physical motion and psychological emotion and bear a resemblance to traditional Ukiyo-e prints, but also express contemporary aspects of the Western Hemisphere.
The prints explore the complex relationship of paper, ink and etched plates to describe my thoughts as well as the relationship that occurs between figure and space to express human experiences. |
