Encaustic “Wax” Painting and Printmaking

A $30 Materials fee will be collected the first day of class
Make one of a kind prints using encaustics or ‘wax paint’ combined with mixed media. Learn to paint with non-toxic wax pigments on a hot surface to create original prints. Students will develop their work by layering a variety of materials such as cold wax, oil pastels, and oil glazes to create multi-dimensional prints. This workshop is suited to all abilities.
About the Instructor:
Evelyn Klein is a teaching artist and printmaker in Carmel, California & a member of the California Society of Printmakers.
