Artwork must be appropriate for the general public and families visiting the Gallery. Should any employee or member of the public express to the Town of Danville comments regarding the offensiveness or inappropriateness of any Artwork, at any time during exhibit, the Gallery staff will make a decision as to whether the piece will be removed from the exhibit. The decision of the Gallery staff is final and binding.” The gallery has shown nude work in the past, but artists should be aware that images of graphic violence, sex or artwork with an overtly religious theme may be “deemed inappropriate for the setting”.
